200g softened butter chopped
2 oranges grated rind
80g icing sugar
300g plain flour
1 tbsp poppyseeds
Juice of 1 orange
Preheat the oven to moderately slow and grease 20cmx30cm flat oven pan.
Beat butter, rind and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, seeds and juice. Press mixture together firmly. Press into prepared pan and mark into finger lengths.
Bake about 35 min or until lightly browned. Cut in to fingers lengths in pan; cool in pan.
