Spinach delights


Puff pastry

500 grams fresh spinach

1 small or half of a medium sized onion

Feta cheese





Baking paper




Roll out the puff pastry on a tray with kitchen paper and dived in more or less square parts with a knife

Wash and cook the spinach with a little salt and nutmeg. Only boil for a couple of minutes drain and leave to cool. Then squeeze out the water by hand.

Finely chop the onion

Crumble some feta cheese in a bowl

Now put a little bit of spinach, some of the onion and some crumbled feta on each piece of puff pastry.

spinach-on-puff-pastry-1Put some raw egg on the edges of the puff pastry and close them like a package.

Brush the puffed packages with some egg.

Cook in an oven on 180 or 200 degree C depending on the oven, until golden brown.
