Avocado Spread Tapa
There are various types of avocados, some type keep their deep-green colour even when they are ripe but the ‘Hass’ is an avocado that becomes dark brown when it ripens. This is the avocado that is most found in supermarkets all around the world. When it starts to feel slightly soft it is ripe, once ripe they are best saved in the refrigerator.
- 1 medium sized ripe avocado
- 2 or 3 tablespoons of cream cheese
- One tin of tuna fish in olive oil (about 80 grams)
- fresh lemon juice to taste
- little bit of salt and (cayenne) pepper to taste
- sliced toasted bread
Grill or toast the bread. Mix the avocado with the cream cheese and the tuna fish and add some lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt. To taste you can also add white, black or cayenne pepper. Spread this on your toast and serve immediately. Depending on the size of the avocado and your personal taste you can adjust the amount of the other ingredients.
