Life takes you on a journey and on that journey you get the opportunity to meet interesting people. One of those people is Ferry Verhoeve, born in The Hague in the Netherlands. Ferry started out as an electronic flight instruments engineer but his technical skills and well developed musical ear soon lead him to become a studio engineer.
He did recording sessions with various well known Dutch artists and bands such as Livin Blues, Highway Chile, Marjory Barnes, Thijs van Leer and others. He then went on to become a Mastering engineer, which means that he turns final audio mixes into radio-ready, high-quality masters for CD production. Another one of his strengths is CD production. From low-quantity duplication to high-quantity replication of CDs.
Because of Ferry’s interest in technology and new media it was only logical that he would develop skills as a website builder and he has been able to supply many of his clients in the music, art and book industries with great websites. His rates are more than reasonable and he offers the customer a wide-ranging choice of creative solutions from a simple website suitable, say, for a small business to an all-singing, all-dancing website with high functionality. Also very important, Ferry’s easy-going attitude and obvious love for what he does, plus his enthusiasm and optimism ensure a very pleasant collaboration.
Ferry became introduced to the book publishing business in 2007 when he became an associate (up until 2012) at Tipbook Company, where he was responsible for new title development as well as for sales and marketing. The knowledge he acquired during this period is now put to good use in the book publishing service he provides for
independent writers. Design, layout, production and publication of books are in good hands with Ferry. In close collaboration with the writer he will develop a production ready book, take care of very affordable production – even in low quantities – and he’ll also make sure the book is available on Amazon and other book outlets.
Ferry is responsible for the internal page and cover layouts for the La Herradura book ‘Reflections from La Herradura’ and of the Spanish version ‘Reflejos del Paisaje Humano de La Herradura’ by Renate van Nijen who lives in La Herradura. Ferry has also taken care of the layouts of all Renate’s other books. It will come as no surprise then to learn he is also closely involved in the La Herradura Cultural website.
So whether you are planning on creating or changing a website, producing a CD, or are looking for expert help producing your next literary masterpiece, be sure to contact Ferry first.
